[New!]Democracy, Nonviolence, and Peace

(The following link is to The Earth Charter)

Pre-Praver Reflection: Reflect on the content from the Earth Charter's fourth Principle - Democracy, Nonviolence, and Peace.

Opening Prayer:      The Earth Charter - Democracy, Nonviolence, and Peace

Song:       "The Prayer of St. Francis" (John Michael Talbot)

Reading:      Luke 6: 27-36      Love for Enemies

Reflection:     Brief quiet time to reflect on the reading

Reading:      CFC Constitution # 4

Quiet Time: Take 30 minutes to reflect on what God is saying to you in today's readings. Use the following questions as a possible guide, or simply allow the Spirit to speak to you.

-   How do you promote a culture of tolerance, nonviolence, and peace?

-   In what ways do you contribute to intolerance, violence, and non-peaceful solutions to differences?

-   How do you empower your students to become good stewards of God's creation?

-   How do you promote the concept of treating all living beings with respect and consideration?

Sharing; As a follow up to your quit time, share with your Brothers in community the fruits of your reflection. What is God saying to you about Democracy, Nonviolence, and Peace!
