I’m writing to share with you that registration for the Second Religious Brothers Symposium is now open. The 2020 Symposium has been postponed until either the Fall of 2020 or the Spring of 2021. We will be bringing together over 225 religious brothers, priests, sisters, lay people, and students to discuss and engage with the vocation of the religious brother.

The theme of the Symposium is The Prophetic Call of the Religious Brother in the Church. We will hear and engage in conversations with brothers from around the world, including Brother Guy Consolmagno, SJ, the director of the Vatican Observatory, and Brother Peter Tabichi, OSF, a Franciscan friar from Kenya who won the 2019 Global Teacher Prize.

Registration is available at Religious Brother website. All the information you need is on the website. I hope that you might consider joining Brothers in the ongoing discussion about the gift that our Brotherhood is for the Church today. The last Symposium held at the University of Notre Dame was a great success.

The gathering at Boston College is shaping up to be another extraordinary event. The Symposium is hosted by the Religious Brothers Conference (RBC), the Conference of Major Superiors of Men (CMSM), the National Religious Vocations Conference (NRVC), and the Religious Formation Conference (RFC).

Thank you for considering attending. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me.

Prayerfully,
Peter O'Loughlin
