| We are (brothers) called in faith by a loving
God to a deep relationship with Jesus and with our brothers in a religious
community founded by Blessed Edmund Rice.
We are gifted with the charism of Blessed Edmund our Founder, and
we are responsible for nurturing it. We recognize that this charism
is shared by others who draw inspiration from Blessed Edmund.
We are sent by the Holy Spirit to be signs of God's love and compassion
for all our brothers and sisters, but especially the poor, the powerless
and the oppressed.
